aspens in fog

Lately I have been discovering the morning again.

For a long time I had been a morning person. Getting up at 4:45 and at work by 6:00, but things change. I discovered that I could only work less by starting the day later. And the best way to start the day later was to sleep longer.

So for maybe a year or so I have been robbed of the sunrise and other environmental features that seem to only make it out int he early morning, such as fog.

It is impressive that something as mere as fog could translate my typical front porch view into something a bit more interesting.

I like the sensation of distance fog creates.
