If the cold weather doesn’t kill the pumpkins the snow ought to do the trick.
Everybody said don’t plant the pumpkins before Memorial Day or they will die. I am not that new here. I have seen a couple of springs in the mountains. I knew that there was always one last snow before it really became summer. That’s why I saved back a few of the plants.
Of course, they are just as likely to whither in their tiny little pots as they are to freeze in the cold. I guess we will see which batch wins.
