Last week I was talking about generosity and this week we have a great example.
Your Aunt and Uncle were able to combine all three levels into one handy package. They built you a wonderful dresser that you will no doubt have for the rest of your life–as long as you can find people with strong backs to help you carry it.
Let me tell you about this dresser. It is made of maple and mahogany, has no visable nails or other construction devices, and was personally designed and built in the Mission style by your Uncle and stained and varnished by your Aunt. The lines are smooth and graceful and the drawers pull out much nicer than my dresser (but mine is older). The mahogany accents on the sides and inlaid on the top lend a subtle elegance to the sturdy construction.
Your Mother and I are very excited to replace the folding card table we were using with this great piece and are already planning ways to trick them into building more stuff for you.
